Meeting minutes 18/03/09

Thanks to all who attend the meeting another good turnout.
 
1) Pembroke- Closing date has passed for our trip to Pembroke. There Will be 10 of us going which is really good news. The final cost will be £90 + B&B (Paul and Fiona have volunteered to have a look around for B&B prices for us) costs and hotels will be available at Aprils meeting. Anybody with outstanding monies will be contacted either by text or email.
 
2) Egypt's live aboard trip has now been filled. ( Details to follow shortly ).
 
3) Spain update. We are currently getting together a package for a trip to Santa Pola , Alicante for a weeks diving in May 2010. Rough costs should be available in next months meeting.
 
4) Millport- We have decided this year to give Millport a miss after 3 very successful years diving and socialising shall we say!. We will be turning our attention back to Wales and weather permitting get out diving any suggestions on places, boats please let us know.
 
5) Rez- We haven`t booked the rez yet as there is a mixed dry suit wet suit split. As you are aware you can only dive here in a dry suit.
 
6) Good news at last we have found a dive boat which operates in Liverpool bay. We need to pick some dates for august weekends and put them forward to the skipper. The boat can accommodate 10 divers costs are £350 per day.
 
7) Apparently there`s 2 facebook style web sites for divers Blue fin? and fish for divers? if anybodies interested.
 
8) Next months meeting is the 8th April 6pm Aquaventurers.
