Meeting Minutes 08/04/09

Dive meeting chaired by Glynn Phillips

Thanks to everybody who turned up to the meeting and apologies for there not being much in the way of dive info this month due to being really busy with work.
 
1) The Pembroke trip has now been fully booked and paid for. A big thanks to everybody who paid there money on time it really does make booking trips so much easier. The club will be sending more details in the next few weeks about times and dive sites. Please could everybody who is going on the trip try to be at the next meeting so we can confirm all the details?
 
2) Diving at last. The clubs official 1st outing will be to Capernwray on Sunday 19th April. There will be Aquaventurers teaching staff as well as club members so if you haven’t been diving for a while and would like to refresh your skills why not come and join us strictly pleasure diving of course he he he……. Rob has kit available to hire if you require any, please see Rob.
 
3) The Rez. As there is only a few divers with dry suits I think that it would be better to arrange this trip amongst themselves.
 
4) 2010 trip to Spain. Unfortunately John Taylor couldn't make this months meeting, but as you are aware he has made a few enquiries and it looks promising more info next month.
 
5) Diving Liverpool bay. Same as above with the exception we have dates available to us to discus at next months meeting. Paul Daley has spoken to the skipper there will only be 8 spaces on the boat now unfortunately rising the cost to about £44 (still cheap) if you would like to go please bring with you a £20 deposit which is non refundable to next months meeting so we can get a date booked.
 
6) The club web site. Over the last few weeks this has really taken off with questions and dive dates being arranged. Please keep it up as the club grows so will the chat ha ha…….
 
7) Delph. For anybody who hasn't been the Delph before it is now open till late on Wednesday’s for those who dive during the week a good alternative to Capernwray.
 
8) Wales. All being well I should have a few dates for diving Anglesey/North Wales coast for next months meeting.
