Review

 

The Farne Islands review is now on the clubs website and face-book, it’s hoped to have another trip to the Farnes in 2011, but hopefully at a more pleasant time of year. This will be followed up and details will hopefully be available at the next meeting.

 

2010 Dive Trips

 

Malta - There was still some interest in this trip or a similar one, it was raised however the logistics of organizing a foreign holiday, especially with the disruption being caused by the volcanic ash cloud. Paula will however discuss possibilities with John Taylor.

 

Welsh coast trips- The following dates and tides were put forward, Paula to email a copy of the tides (kindly supplied by Paul Wisse) to all members. July and August dates to be agreed at the next dive meeting.

 

Saturday 29th May 2010 - Treaddurr Bay - High tide is at 11.20. We will be meeting at 9.30/10.00 at the Diving Services (Anglesey) Dive shop parking available at £5.00 per day. It’s just over a two hour drive. Toilets are about 1 mile away and watch out for the traffic wardens, they are very vigilant around here. Check out AquaV forum night before to confirm dive is still on.

 

Sunday 27th June 2010 - Treaddurr Bay - meet at the dive shop as above, high tide is at 11.10 a.m.

 

July and August 2010- Dates to be confirmed at next club meeting.

 

 

The clubs anniversary dive and night out

 

We usually hold the clubs anniversary dive at the Delph, followed by a BBQ this year it falls on the weekend of the 21st August.

 

The club night out is usually on the bank holiday weekend this year being Saturday 28th August.

 

Do members still want to do this the same way or would people prefer to dive the bank holiday? Suggestions required for the next dive meeting.

 

 

 

 

Some of the guys and girls are diving the quarries over the next couple of weekends please check out the forum to confirm details.
